Wonderful weekend

One time, I got to climb into an excavator.
*stolen from Aleks*
Pretty cool~

October: Thursday the 30th
Hung out with Dennis. We headed down to Hyde Park for the Museum of Science and Industry, but before that, we had lunch at Native Foods Cafe.
Dennis was confused and started eating his sandwich like steak. I will never forget this. Ahahahaha!!

He made a genius mix of the three teas and lemonade they have. It was incredible.

The museum!
Hadn't been there since I was a child! I was really looking forward to it.

 Ahhhh~~
That sand spinning thing that looks like Mars is my new favorite. So hypnotizing @_@

Ahahaha! This is a huge light box thing where you can control the colors from inside and people watch the colors outside. We paper, scissor, rock-ed who would be the color dj and who would be the fan raving to the colors. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how perfectly the detail in the "dj's" hands are captured on the dials?
The very loud and very cool lightning display

 The toy making machines!

Their new installment: mirror maze!
The closest I'll ever feel like Alice in Wonderland
Loved the changing light colors too. Eee so fun~

My dream house: Colleen Moore's Fairy Castle (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡
This was my favorite exhibit when I was little cause I liked to imagine living in there.
Pink marble floors! And the delicate princess furniture! Sighhhh

We got to walk around for over three hours before the museum closed.
Why can't my camera ever get the background?? D:

Went to Pho 55(?) for dinner.
 Very pretty looking place.

But the worst tasting pho I've ever had T____T

But other than that, it was a very fun day!

Halloween/Reunion 2014
SANDY CAME TO VISIT!!!
I hadn't seen Sandy in a few days short of six months! I can't believe I didn't see her all summer! I'm a terrible friend. But I finally got to see her again and I was so so happy!
Ha ha ha Eva and I discussed lazy costumes. I guess Sandy unknowingly was a British person this Halloween.

The sushi Eva and I got from work while waiting for Sandys train to get in. We ate while watching Hocus Pocus and then played Cards Agaisnt Humanity with snacks on the side. We ended the night by burrito-ing in bed. It was bliss. I was so happy.

November: Saturday the 1st
Lunch at Del Seoul, dessert at Molly's, and then cute mystery box shopping at Rotofugi!
My fail polaroids.

Sandy's are much better:

I really wanted Ghost, but Shaggydog is cool too.
The girl figurines are kinda ugly, but the rest are so cute! Even Joffrey!

So many pictures taken together, and I love it!!! ♡(˃͈ દ ˂͈ ༶ )
I love the stair effect going on here.

Unfortunately, we had to drop Sandy off at the station for her 4PM train back to Champaign. It was a very short but very happy reunion! (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`)

After getting home, I slowly got ready for Kevin's birthday at 10PM.
The birthday opening his birthday present.

We had dinner at Girl and the Goat.
Some dishes I didn't have the first time I was there:
Scallops

Trout. I ate all the clams.

Quail

Pig face

Goat loin

I got the fries and the pork shank for myself again. I got full from trying all the other dishes, so I had the shank the next day and it was incredible. The most luxurious leftovers I've ever had. I felt like Robert Baratheon!

Tina!!!! Was very happy to be reunited with her again.

Birthday boy and his complimentary dessert. We were sitting in front of the kitchen, so I got the chefs to sing "Happy Birthday" with us ha ha ha!

Julie, Mark, Peter, Kevin, Tina, me, Mike, Krsna, and Vikas

After dinner, we grabbed some drinks and tried playing a game at Geek Bar.
Ha ha ha we all sucked at this game.
